We present together with lamono magazine the latest series of photographs of Jaka Babnik: We are dogs! in an exhibition curated by Adonay Bermúdez.

Specialized in photography of skate, Slovenian Jaka Babnik, developed in this series of photographs a study of self-reflection on human nature and society. Jaka Babnik uses images of dog fights to criticize on the showing of power that human does, both on other humans and to animals, which exploits and humiliates.

The project We are Dogs! has been honored by the Emzin Photography in Slovenia and Rostfrei Publishing has published a series of limited edition books that Jaka will present during the exhibition. (The artist will be present to sign them).

JAKA BABNIK has been working as a photographer and filmmaker since 1996. From 1998 to 2006 he was editor of the Croatian-slovenian photo magazine about skateboard Pendrek. He is the author (director, photography director and editor) of some of the most important films of skate in Slovenia, as Damage (2002).
